Overview
The Level 7 Certificate in Advanced Dental Implantology is a 12-month advanced implant programme designed for dentists who are actively placing implants and wish to elevate their clinical expertise to manage complex implant cases with confidence. Building on foundational implant and restorative training, the course equips you with the knowledge and skills to tackle advanced procedures—including bone augmentation, soft tissue management, full-arch rehabilitation, guided workflows and complication management—within a structured postgraduate curriculum accredited at Level 7.
Structure and learning experience
Delivered in two parts, the programme combines online theory with mentored practical placement experience. Part 1 comprises comprehensive online modules covering the essential principles of advanced implantology across a series of units that you complete at your own pace. Part 2 gives you a choice of hands-on clinical experience: personalised 1:2:1 mentorship through at least 15 additional implant cases at a mentor’s clinic or in your own practice, or an intensive implant placement week in Egypt offering concentrated case experience under expert supervision. Throughout, you engage with rigorous evidence-based teaching supported by industry-leading clinicians and benefit from regular assessment and feedback.
Clinical focus and outcomes
Clinical training emphasises real-world decision making and advanced procedural competence. The curriculum includes bone and regeneration techniques (e.g., socket preservation, guided bone regeneration, sinus elevation), aesthetic and soft tissue management, overdentures and all-on-X full rehabilitation concepts, digital workflows and immediate loading protocols, plus management of short, long and ceramic implants and peri-implant complications. By integrating theoretical depth with mentored case experience, participants graduate with the skills to plan and execute complex implant treatments confidently and safely, expanding their clinical offering and patient outcomes.
Level 7 Certificate
To achieve the Level 7 qualification, delegates must complete the online modules and assessments and fulfil the chosen practical placement requirements. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a Level 7 Certificate in Advanced Dental Implantology accredited by EduQual and the Royal College of Surgeons of England - a recognised postgraduate qualification that reflects rigorous academic and clinical standards.
