Enrolment now open for our Autumn dentistry courses
The Autumn intake is now open for our Restorative Dentistry Course and Operative Dentistry Course

If you missed out on our Spring cohorts, this is your opportunity to enrol on two of Tipton Training’s most in-demand programmes before 2026 comes to a close. The Autumn intake is now open for our Restorative Dentistry Course and Operative Dentistry Course, with limited places available across key locations. With routines settling after summer and a clearer focus heading into the final quarter of the year, autumn offers a practical window to commit to meaningful clinical development.
Both programmes are EduQual Level 7 approved and accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, providing a recognised and respected pathway for dentists looking to strengthen their clinical capabilities and long-term career progression.
Certificate in Restorative Dentistry
The Certificate in Restorative Dentistry is a 12-month programme designed to develop both confidence and competence in modern restorative practice. Delivered through a flexible blend of in-person teaching and online learning, it enables dentists to continue practising while building advanced skills.
A defining feature of the course is its focus on occlusion, which underpins predictable restorative outcomes and is reinforced throughout the programme.
Across 15 modules and 66 hours of Enhanced CPD, delegates will cover:
Occlusion as the foundation of restorative success
Advanced treatment planning and case assessment
Adhesion techniques and composite restorations
Porcelain veneers and aesthetic dentistry
Articulators and TMD splint therapy
Training is supported by hands-on workshops, live sessions, and a comprehensive digital learning library. This structure allows for continuous reinforcement of knowledge between teaching days while encouraging immediate application in practice.
Graduates leave with stronger technical ability, improved predictability in more complex cases, and the confidence to expand the range of treatments they can offer patients.

Certificate in Operative Dentistry
The Certificate in Operative Dentistry is a practical, skills-focused programme built around developing precision and consistency in everyday clinical work. Delivered over 12 months, it combines online preparation with 10 intensive phantom head training days, ensuring that learning is reinforced through repeated hands-on execution.
The course is suitable for dentists at any stage who want to refine their operative techniques and improve the quality and reliability of their work.
Across 20 modules and 87 hours of Enhanced CPD, the programme includes:
Advanced tooth preparation techniques
Bonded, ceramic, and gold restorations
Porcelain veneers and indirect restorations
Bridge preparations and complex restorative procedures
Integration of modern digital workflows
Each practical session is carried out in a structured, mentored environment, allowing delegates to develop hand skills with direct feedback from experienced clinicians. This approach supports measurable improvement in accuracy, efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
By the end of the programme, participants are better equipped to manage a wider range of restorative cases with confidence and consistency.

Led by an experienced faculty
Both programmes are built on the clinical philosophy and educational framework developed by Professor Paul Tipton, who remains Clinical Director of Tipton Training, whose reputation in restorative dentistry education is built on decades of clinical practice and postgraduate teaching.
Each course is led by its own Clinical Director - Dr Adam Toft for the Restorative course and Dr Ash Rayarel for the Operative course. Supported by a senior faculty, the programmes combine evidence-based learning with practical insight, ensuring the techniques taught are relevant, applicable and aligned with the realities of modern dentistry.
Looking ahead to 2027
For those unable to join the Autumn 2026 intake, additional enrolment opportunities will be available throughout 2027. Future cohorts will follow the same structured programmes, offering flexibility for dentists planning their development around existing commitments.
For those ready to take the next step now, autumn provides a clear and focused starting point. With limited places available and strong demand across locations, early enrolment is recommended to secure your place and begin progressing your clinical skills before the year concludes.
