Dr Maria Hardman

With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr Maria Hardman is one of the UK’s most respected names in implant dentistry. A pioneer of advanced, evidence-based techniques, she combines hands-on expertise with a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

Her passion for implant dentistry began in 1996 and has been defined by relentless pursuit of excellence, undertaking extensive training across Europe and North America before earning a Master’s degree in Implantology from Lille University Medical School in 2004. She also holds a Certificate and Diploma of Honour in Clinical Radiological Anatomy of the Head and Neck (2006), enhancing her diagnostic precision and surgical planning.

As owner of Clinic 95 in Oxford, Maria has designed a purpose-built clinical and training facility delivering world-class care and education. She has successfully completed in several thousand single implants and over three hundred full-arch immediate loading cases and works extensively with leading implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Astra, 3i, Ankylos, Osteocare, Biohorizons, Adin and Bredent, tailoring treatment to each patient’s needs. She remains dedicated to restoring smiles, confidence and quality of life.

Beyond her practice, Maria has played a key role in shaping UK implant education. She founded and served as president of the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology, has mentored postgraduate dentists through the Implant Masters Programme at the University of Central Lancashire and as an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick. 

More recently Maria now serves as the Clinical Director of Tipton Training’s Post-Graduate Certificate in Dental Implantology where she leads the design, delivery, and continuous development of the programme — ensuring it remains aligned with the latest clinical advancements and educational standards. Tipton Training is the UK’s largest and most respected private postgraduate dental training provider, having educated over 6,000 dentists globally across more than 35 years.

A member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology, the College of General Dentistry of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Maria brings a rare blend of technical excellence, educational leadership and warmth to everything she does.
