Dr Kerolos AlHakeem is a distinguished orthodontist and lecturer at the University for Digital Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry (DTMD) in Luxembourg. He holds an MSc in Orthodontics with distinction from the University of Dundee (2019) and achieved Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2021.
Specialising in digital orthodontics, clear aligners, and cleft lip and palate treatment, Dr AlHakeem serves on the Clinical Advisory Council for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and is an international credential volunteer with Operation Smile. He has collaborated with leading UK orthodontists, including Professors Grant McIntyre, Peter Mossey, and David R. Bearn, gaining extensive experience in complex cases.
With over five years’ experience as a lecturer and clinical instructor on an MOrth training programme in Egypt, he has spoken at numerous international conferences, including Simply Ortho (Dubai), IDEX (Egypt), and Aligners Evidence and Practice (Egypt).
Dr AlHakeem is the founder of the internationally delivered course “Mastering In-House Clear Aligners: From Design to Delivery,” which has been taught across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
He is also the lead tutor for Tipton Training’s 4 Day Certificate in Clear Aligners, where he combines hands-on clinical teaching with practical digital workflows to help dentists confidently integrate aligner treatment into practice.
Widely respected for his expertise and educational contributions, Dr AlHakeem is recognised for advancing modern orthodontic practice through innovation and international collaboration.
