Dr Gulelala Azhar

Dr. Gulelala Azhar is a distinguished Restorative Dentist with over 17 years of clinical experience, specialising in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Widely recognised as the “Dent-Artist,” she is known for her precision, artistic approach, and unwavering commitment to enhancing patients’ smiles.
Dr. Azhar holds a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Sheffield and is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has further advanced her expertise with a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from Tipton Training.
Her contributions to the profession extend beyond clinical practice. Dr. Azhar has published research in respected journals, including the Journal of Dental Materials and the European Journal of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based dentistry and ongoing professional development.
Alongside her clinical career, Dr. Azhar has a strong background in dental education. She spent six years teaching in Pakistan at a leading teaching hospital, where she held roles as Senior Registrar and later Assistant Professor. In these positions, she played a key role in curriculum development and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, combining academic insight with hands-on clinical guidance.
An accomplished speaker, Dr. Azhar has delivered lectures and hands-on workshops at numerous dental conferences across Pakistan, focusing on modern techniques in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
In recent years, she has embraced digital dentistry, transitioning her practice to a fully digital workflow for smile makeovers and full-mouth rehabilitations. This approach enables enhanced precision, efficiency, and consistently high-quality patient outcomes.
