The Certificate in Full Mouth Reconstruction is an intensive 10-day postgraduate programme designed for experienced dentists who want to progress beyond conventional restorative dentistry and confidently manage complex rehabilitation cases using contemporary digital workflows.
While the programme briefly revisits key analogue restorative principles to establish a common clinical foundation, its primary focus is on advanced digital techniques and technologies that are transforming full mouth rehabilitation. Delegates will explore digital occlusal analysis, jaw tracking, facial scanning, virtual articulators, CAD/CAM workflows, AI-assisted treatment planning and digital splint design, learning how to integrate these into predictable clinical practice.
Led by Professor Paul Tipton, a leading UK authority in restorative dentistry and occlusion, and his team, alongside John Wibberley, an experienced and highly respected Clinical Dental Technician, the course combines evidence-based clinical principles with extensive hands-on practical training.

Clinical focus and outcomes
Training centres on the diagnosis and management of complex full mouth rehabilitation cases through advanced digital planning and restorative workflows. Building upon established restorative principles, delegates will learn how to integrate contemporary digital technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy, treatment predictability and long-term clinical outcomes.
By the end of the programme, delegates will be able to apply advanced principles of occlusion when managing complex restorative cases, diagnose and manage TMD using structured clinical protocols supported by digital occlusal analysis, and design, manufacture and adjust digital occlusal splints using modern digital workflows.
Delegates will gain confidence using digital technologies including jaw tracking, facial scanning, CBCT, virtual articulators and AI-assisted treatment planning to assess complex cases and develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies. They will also be able to undertake detailed full mouth examinations, manage changes in vertical dimension, and confidently plan and deliver comprehensive rehabilitation involving crowns, veneers, bridges and removable prostheses.
Throughout the programme, delegates will learn how to combine proven analogue principles with the latest digital workflows, enabling them to deliver more efficient, predictable and patient-centred full mouth reconstructions.

Designed to fit around the demands of modern clinical practice, this blended learning programme combines flexible study with intensive hands-on training delivered over 12 months. The course consists of 10 face-to-face training days supported by high-quality online learning, allowing delegates to progressively develop their knowledge and clinical skills between modules. Each training day combines evidence-based lectures with practical workshops, phantom head exercises, digital workflow demonstrations and tabletop sessions, ensuring every concept is translated into clinical application.
Recognising that delegates will have varying levels of experience with digital dentistry, the programme begins with a concise review of key analogue restorative concepts before progressing into advanced digital workflows. This structured approach provides a shared clinical foundation while allowing the majority of the programme to focus on contemporary techniques, digital technologies and the management of complex rehabilitation cases.
