Over the course of many years in the dental profession, Dr Tipton has developed excellent relationships with leading experts in different dental fields. As part of the established multi-day Tipton Training courses on restorative, aesthetic, implantology and phantom head, we are very pleased to offer to any other dentist, a number of one day courses where external speakers of international acclaim lecture on their field of expertise.
At different stages throughout the acdemic year 2010/11 the following people will give an indepth lecture on their specialism.
Dr Goren Urde will once again provide an inciteful and interesting lecture on the area of implantology and how to exploit it successfully within the practice. Dr Urde, has lectured and published extensively on dental implants and practice management. He is currently on staff as a Prosthodontist at the Copenhagen Implant Center, and maintains a private practice in Copenhagen.
From the UK, Dr John Besford is a Queen's Award Winner for Innovation in Dentistry. Dr Besford has practiced in Harley Street, has a Phd in Bacteriology and taught removable dental prosthetics full time at the University of London. Dr Besford now divides his time between his specialist practice and freelance postgraduate teaching around the world. One of Dr Besford’s goals in working with patients who have suffered major tooth removal is to rekindle their feelings of attractiveness and self-esteem so that they alone know their secret.
All these lectures are normally very well attended and represent excellent networking opportunities to find out what your colleagues are doing. They also represent a cost effective way of getting to listen to, meet with and question these renowned figures.
