This is a weekend course running over 2 days and is accredited by Dr. Tim Eldridge and Tipton Training. It is a hands-on course where you have the opportunity to treat your own Botox & Dermal Filler patients.
By training in this popular treatment and receiving accreditation you can become eligible for insurance cover from specialist medical insurance providers to offer Botox Treatments in your practice. Each delegate on this two day Botox and Dermal Filler Course receives a certificate of attendance; which is used to obtain professional indemnity as well as to verify the CPD credits.
You are also invited to bring along your Dental Nurse for training in Botox and Dermal Fillers at a cost of just £195 + VAT per day. Dental Nurses will then be able to talk to patients about the benefits and potential side effects of this exciting medical skin treatment. Dental Nurses do not have to attend both days of the Botox and Dermal Filler Course. In such case though, we would recommend that they attend Day 1 (Botox Training).
Tim is the principal dentist and clinical director at myFACE. He is currently chairman of CODE, and is a facial aesthetic trainer for CODE AFA. He has trained hundreds of dentists and doctors in the field of facial aesthetics.
In the morning you will be introduced to the latest scientific background on the use of Botulinum Toxin and will learn the most effective techniques. The differences between Botox, Vistabel, Dysport and Xeomin will be explored with a guide to the reconstitution and dosages that would be used for each. Techniques will then be demonstrated on a patient.
Following this demonstration you will have the opportunity to treat one of your own patients that you have brought along to the course for this purpose. Advice is also given on insurance, marketing and legal aspects of advertising and providing botulinum toxin type A treatment.
You will have the opportunity to watch your colleagues treat their patients with a range of different techniques. Delegates will have the chance to see forehead, frown lines and crow's feet, the commonest three areas of treatment.
In the morning you will be introduced to the latest background on the use of hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers and the most effective techniques. Techniques will then be demonstrated on a patient.
Following this demonstration you will have the opportunity to treat one of your own patients that you have brought along to the course for this purpose. Advice is also given on insurance, marketing and the legal aspects of advertising and providing dermal fillers.
You will have the opportunity to watch your colleagues treat their patients with a range of different treatments. Delegates will have the chance to see lip enhancement (for smoker's lines or for improvement in shape), treatments for nasolabial lines, marionette lines and the softening of other fine lines.
