Implantology Course. The only course accredited by the British Academy of Implant Dentistry (BAID), which can lead to a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the B.A.I.D. Commences Feb 2011.
The field of Dental Implantology is expanding rapidly, reflecting increased media coverage and patient awareness of the possibilities afforded by it. As more patients opt for dental implants rather than the traditional approaches to overcoming tooth loss, such as bridges and removable dentures, mastering implant treatment represents a significant growth opportunity to practices across the UK.
The Tipton Training Implant Course for Dentists, one of the UK’s longest established courses, is now in its 17th successful year of delivery. Our course is unique in that it is the only course in the UK to teach you all the prosthetic techniques on Kavo Phantom Heads before you treat patients in the clinic.
This one-year, multi-system course helps Dentists integrate the discipline of Implantology into their practice and helps to keep it simple, yet fulfil the guidelines from the GDC. It also allows you to 'sample' the different implant systems before deciding which one to use and buy on the unique 'systems day'.
Attendance on the course is strictly limited to ensure that delegates receive the personal attention and instruction needed to generate confidence and build skills in the best and emerging practices.
We strongly recommend that you bring one or more of your patients for treatment under the auspices of the course.
Your patient can then pay you for the prosthetic part of the treatment which will be done by you at the clinic under our supervision. This can represent great value for potentially price sensitive patients and can subsidise or cover all your own course fees. This is a great offer.
Should you not have a patient then there will be a number of patients allocated to you from our implant clinic and treat them under our supervision.
Attendance on this course will qualify for your CPD qualification. Each day of the course is equivalent to 5½ hours CPD.
THERE WILL ALSO BE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASSIST AND LEARN THE ADVANCED BONE GRAFTING PROCEDURES DURING THE COURSE.
PAUL WILL ALSO GIVE YOU FREE MENTORING TO HELP YOU AFTER THE COURSE HAS ENDED.

Paul has been responsible for providing me with stimulating and relevant evidence based knowledge that I have been able to relate to my everyday work. This has enabled me to greatly improve my standards of patient care and also improve the quality of my workling life.
Dr William Murphy, Birmingham
At the start of the course I had recently purchased a private dental practice from a very well respected dentist. I would not have had the confidence to step into his shoes without doing this course.
Dr. Matthew Houlton, York
The course gave me the confidence and knowledge to start placing and restoring implants for my own patients. On a purely business basis the course was a sound investment having paid for itself many times within the first year.
